Hi reader

PSNH PRESENTS ELAYNE CLIFT AND POETIC PLACES: A GLOBAL ARMCHAIR JOURNEY

Note: In order to assure that our events are safe and welcoming to all participants, we do not usually include the ZOOM link for events in our newsletter. If you are not on Jimmy's email list, please register for ZOOM Events on the event page (Click the More Information link for the event) and Jimmy will send you the ZOOM link and add you to his list for future events.
I hope you can join us next Tuesday for PSNH Presents Poetic Places: A Global Armchair Journey with Elayne Clift. We will be travelling around the world with poems and pictures.

Tuesday, March 22, 7:00 PM ET: Join Elayne Clift, author of the poetry collection Other People, Other Lands (1999) and the travel memoir Around the World in 50 Years: Travel Tales of a Not So Innocent Abroad (2019) for a trip around the world as we Zoom ticketless across continents. Elayne has traveled to nearly 100 countries and all 50 states professionally and personally allowing people and places to come to life in the poetic words and tales she will share. Elayne has worked internationally in public health education and communication and is an award-winning writer, workshop leader, and lecturer. Last year PSNH Presents featured her latest book, a poetry anthology, A 21st Century Plague: Poetry From a Pandemic (2021).
I hope you can be there. More information

An Important Message from PSNH Membership Committee Chair, Liane St. Laurent

Dear Members of the Poetry Society of New Hampshire,

We encourage all members to attend our Quarterly Meeting (Zoom link below) on March 26, 2022 from 12pm-2pm (ET). Whether you are able to attend or not, we invite you to share your ideas, questions, or concerns via the Quarterly Meeting Questionnaire so we can direct your input to respective Committee Chairpersons for a response during the meeting.

This is also an election year for PSNH, and our members need to elect new directors (board members). We are seeking volunteers to act as members of this cycle’s Nominating Committee, whose task would be to solicit nominees for Board of Directors, identify the best possible candidates, and send the ballots with the slate of candidates to the membership. Please let our president, Ala Khaki, know if you are interested: president@psnh.org.
