PSNH Quarterly Meeting

Live Member Event - Saturday, April 29

Hello fellow PSNH members!

Poetry Society of New Hampshire is excited to announce that we will be dedicating our Quarterly Meeting on April 29th to all of you - our members!

This will be our first in-person meeting since the pandemic and will take place at Colby-Sawyer College. We invite you to read your poems and to share in one another's accomplishments. Please feel free to bring your books to sell or trade with fellow members. While only members will read their work, non-members are welcome to attend to listen; we encourage you to invite family and friends to come and support your work. Light refreshments will also be served so please be sure to RSVP.

Date: Saturday April 29th, 2023
Time: 2:00 -4:00 PM
Location: Colby-Sawyer College Fine Arts Center, Gordon Hall
56 Academy Quad, New London, NH 03257.

REGISTRATION, QUESTIONS and COMMENTS: Please RSVP your intent to attend here and indicate if you would like to read at this event. We need your participation to make this event and future events a success! You can also post your questions and comments in this same form (even if you are unable to attend.)

PSNH's Quarterly Meetings Re-invented: Historically, we have used the first half of our quarterly meetings to review PSNH's accomplishments in the last quarter as well as our continued vision for the future, but the board of directors has decided to re-invent our quarterly meetings going forward and use the time to focus on activities our members feel most passionate about - namely activities around poetry.

What does this change mean? It means that PSNH's board will be providing you with the presentation on the status of the organization and its committees in advance of our quarterly meeting. This presentation will be provided in a separate email prior to April 29. When we meet in person we will take the first few minutes of the meeting to discuss your questions and comments and then move on to our real mission... sharing in poetry! Each quarter we will focus on a new location within the state and create a meeting focused on members and poetry.

We look forward to celebrating your work with you soon!

All our best,

PSNH Board of Directors
