Ace Boggess on Prison Poetry

This Tuesday it will be like when Saturday Night Live has the host and the musical guest be the same person. I will be both the moderator and the presenter at the same time. Here's hoping I can handle it as deftly as always. Join me for an evening of Cranberry Moments.

Our next Down Cellar Poets event will be this coming Sunday, February 6, at 1:00 PM ET. Hope you can join us for what amounts to a free writing workshop. I will be sending out a link closer to the date. Let me know if you have any questions about this event.

Here is a cool article from the Keene Sentinel about one of our Teen Poets Laureate Team. Veronika Sokol is in the running for a scholarship with the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Hope you can join us this coming Tuesday, February 1, at 7:00 PM ET, as Ace Boggess presents "Prison Poetry." Ace received a fellowship for fiction from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts and spent five years in a West Virginia prison, an experience he writes about with intensity and humor.
