Poetry Society of New Hampshire is saddened to hear of the passing of Charles (Charlie) Simic. He has played such an important role to so many in the New Hampshire poetry community, to the poetry community across the United States, to his home county of Yugoslavia, and far beyond. We are in discussions about ways in which we can pay tribute to him in the coming weeks and months.
