Join us for a warm evening of poetry: Suzanne’s reading, followed by a poetry-writing activity and sharing!
Suzanne Rogier Marshall is a retired educator and poet, living half-way up Bear Mountain in Hebron, New Hampshire. She is the author of the recently published full-length poetry collection A Charm of Finches (Shanti Arts Publishing, 2022) and the chapbook Blood Knot (Porkbelly Press, 2015). Her poems have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies.
Suzanne will read primarily from A Charm of Finches. Set in a northern landscape–both harsh and beautiful–these poems are deeply rooted in the earth and the interconnection of self with the natural world and its greater rhythms. Her poems speak to the human in all of us, weaving themes of aging, loss, endings and new beginnings, leaving and coming back home.
