Poetry Nashua: Share poems and discuss poetry on the first Tuesday of each month in the activity room on the lower level of the Nashua Public Library. Poets of all levels and ages are welcome!
On Tuesday, March 5, poet Roy Goodman will be a featured reader. Roy’s reading will be followed by an Open Mic.
Roy Goodman was born and grew up in South Africa.  He graduated from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and then came to the Boston area in 1972.  He is semi-retired and lives in Nashua with his wife, Laura, and two cats.  Roy spent most of his career working ar various levels in the high-tech world – from the factory floor to the director of operations.  He has also been a cab driver in Boston, a bartender, a union organizer, and is now a driver for Meals On Wheels.  All these experiences inform his writing:  two novels, Angel Play,  and  Isaac’s Story, and his poetry which has been published in anthologies such as  The Other Side Of Sorrow and the Anthology of New England Writers 2001.
