Rebecca Kaiser Gibson’s debut novel is The Promise of a Normal Life (Arcade Publishing, Feb.2023). Her poetry collections are Girl as Birch, (2022), and OPINEL (2015) Bauhan Publishing. Her work is in these reviews: Agni; Barrow Street; Field; Green Mountains; Greensboro; Interim; Harvard; Massachusetts; Ocean State; Passengers; Salamander; Slate; Tupelo; Antigonish; and VerseDaily, among others. She’s received fellowships from MacDowell, Massachusetts Cultural Council, VSC and VCCA. As Fulbright Scholar she taught in India. Tom Daley’s poetry has appeared in North American Review, Harvard Review, Massachusetts Review, Fence, Denver Quarterly, Crazyhorse, Prairie Schooner, Witness, and elsewhere. FutureCycle Press published his first full-length collection of poetry, House You Cannot Reach—Poems in the Voice of My Mother and Other Poems. His chapbook, Far Cry, was published in 2022 by Ethel Zine & Micro Press. He was a recipient of the Dana Award in Poetry.

Cheryl Clark Vermeulen is author of the poetry book They Can Take It Out (Word Works, 2022) and chapbooks Dead-Eye Spring (Cy Gist Press) and This Paper Lantern (Dancing Girl Press). An M.F.A. graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, she has published poems, translations, and poetry reviews in Caketrain, The Drunken Boat, Tarpaulin Sky, Third Coast, DIAGRAM, among others, and the anthology Connecting Lines: New Poetry from Mexico. She is also Poetry Editor at Pangyrus and teaches at MassArt, where she founded and runs the Creative Writing Minor. She moved to Jamaica Plain in 1998 and lives here with her husband, twin boys, and a tiny city zoo.
WHERE & WHEN: Chapter and Verse is a literary reading series sponsored by Jamaica Pond Poets, usually on the second Friday of the month, from October through May at 7:30 pm. The readings occur at the historic Loring Greenough House, 12 South Street in Monument Square in Jamaica Plain, MA where they have been held for more than 20 years.
