Please join us Wednesday, September 10th at 5PM when Hampton’s own Joanne ‘JoJo’ Casey will perform a selection of poems from their, as-yet-unpublished, book of poetry:
“The Navigation Acts.” Joanne has been writing for a long time, but only recently decided it was time to stand up, stand out, and be heard! If you’ve never been to a professional poetry show – don’t worry – you can attend this show and still say you’ve never been to a professional poetry show – but we tried and that’s the important part!
Bio: Joanne is an At-Large Board Member for The Poetry Society of New Hampshire, They have been published in various magazines you’ve never heard of – except, maybe, The Portsmouth Herald (is that still a thing?). Joanne also played ‘Narrator Nick’ in the Seacoast Rep’s Senior Rep production of ‘The Great Gatsby’. Joanne writes with you – the audience – in mind, and has seriously been called . . . entertaining.
