James Crews presents Breathing Room
Come to Gibson’s Bookstore for a lively reading and book signing with VT Author and Poet, James Crews. The evening is co-hosted by Percheron Poets, a community-based writing group based in central New Hampshire. The group started after participating in poetry classes at the Twiggs Gallery in Boscawen. Poets gather monthly at the Kimball-Jenkins Estate to share their work; host workshops and public readings; and help each other grow as writers.
James Crews is the author and editor of fourteen books, including Breathing Room, Turning Toward Grief, How to Love the World, and Love Is for All of Us, winner of a Nautilus Gold Medal Award. He has been featured on NPR’s Morning Edition, in People Magazine, The Boston Globe, and The New York Times Magazine. James lives with his husband on forty rocky acres in Southern Vermont that they are restoring to a habitat for pollinators and native species.
