Poetry Nashua: Share poems and discuss poetry on the first Tuesday of each month in the activity room on the lower level of the Nashua Public Library. Poets of all levels and ages are welcome!
On Tuesday, April 2, poet Rodger Martin will be a featured reader. Rodger’s reading will be followed by an Open Mic.
Rodger Martin is the author of four books of poetry, the latest volume For All The Tea In Zhongguo is a collection of poems in English and in Mandarin.  He is a touring artist for the New England States Touring Foundation administered by the New England Foundation for the Arts.  He is a seven time recipient of a Bruce Keller/Mondadnock Fellowship to pursue his writing.  He has also received other fellowships as well as awards for his poetry, fiction, and essays.  His work has been published in literary journals and anthologies throughout the United States and China.  In 2012 he represented the United States at a literary festival in China, and he has also presented a series of lectures about poets and poetry in China.  In addition to his writing, Rodger teaches journalism and creative writing at Keene State Colege.  Additional litrary endeavors have included: managing editor of The Worcester Review for almost three decades.  In 2015, Rodger’s poem “Anchor” was engraved in stone at Shangai University for International Business and Economics in China.  For more information please see his website at   http://www.rodgerwriter.com.

Your covered container of non-alcoholic beverage is allowed by the library.  A few snacks will be provided.  Your published works are welcomed to be sold by you, at the back table – remember to bring change for the cash sales.
