For many poets, our writing is a safe space, one where we can try to make sense of what feels uncertain or heavy in our lives and the world around us. When we share our poems, we welcome others into a conversation, reminding ourselves and our community members that we aren’t as alone as we might feel. In this workshop, we will generate and share our writing, exploring ways to create safe spaces within our writing and invite our readers and listeners in with open arms.
