Join poet Liane St. Laurent for a reading featuring old and new poems, along with selected pieces from her debut chapbook, un/winter. With attention to small details rooted in the natural world, her poetry balances grief with joy, revealing moments of beauty and transformation. In addition to the reading, she will offer generative writing prompts to inspire your own creative exploration.
Liane St. Laurent is an old dog learning new tricks. She has washed dishes, driven horse-drawn carriages, picked apples, taught English and is currently a retired IT professional. Her poetry appears in The Banyan Review, Emerge Literary Journal, Roi Fainéant Press, Touchstone, among others. Her debut chapbook, un/winter, was published with Bee Monk Press in January 2025. Liane lives in NH with her husband, two dogs, and an array of woodland creatures. Read more about Liane and find un/winter at lianestlaurent.com.
