Saturday, September 19, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Manchester Public Library, Winchell Room
405 Pine Street, Manchester, NH 03104
Join the Poetry Society of New Hampshire for an interactive workshop exploring how the conversation between a poem’s opening and closing images can reveal character, emotion, and meaning. After discussing examples from literature and film, participants will create original work of their own. No experience necessary. All ages welcome. Attend in person or via Zoom.*
Host: William Coleman is a PSNH board member, an English teacher at Prospect Mountain High School, and a recipient of the 2026 New Hampshire Poetry Teacher’s Award from UNH. His work has appeared in Poetry, The Paris Review, and other journals.
