Celebrate National Poetry Month at

The Toadstool Bookshop in Peterborough

Poet Kent McKenzie will read from his body of work in celebration of New Hampshire and National Poetry Month. While residing in Antrim, NH, Kent has been writing poetry and prose for over 30 years. His work evokes the seasonal nature of living in New Hampshire, fully wrought with its cycles of joy and abundance, austerity and scarcity. For those that find beauty in the Monadnock region’s, and greater New Hampshire’s, way of life, often dictated through a dialogue between the self and the seasons, Kent’s poetry will ring true and full of soul.

Kent is the author of four chapbooks:

The Great North Woods
Nor’easter Outside the Harbor
Where It All Went South
A New Westward Ranging

When: Saturday, April 8 11:00am (ET)

Where: 12 Depot Square, Peterborough, NH 03456
